Text Box: Established here at Santa Fe Dam in 1990, the Junior Lifeguard Program is taught by the Los Angeles County Lake Lifeguards.  There are currently three programs operated by the Lake Lifeguard staff, which are located at Santa Fe Dam, Castaic Lake and Bonelli Regional Park.  The Junior Lifeguard program has developed into one of the most successful children’s summer programs within Los Angeles County. This site will enable you to discover what it takes to become a Junior Lifeguard and what being a Junior Lifeguard is all about.  Please contact us if you have questions regarding our program.
