All three lakes protected by the lake lifeguard service offer swimming during the summer months.

The beach towers are staffed primarily by seasonal lake lifeguards.  They are the front line of defense against water related emergencies in and around the swim areas.  This is no small responsibility in a population as dense as that of Los Angeles County.       

Through a program of re-certification classes and daily in-service training the skills learned in our lifeguard academy are built on to insure that the lifeguards are prepared for whatever may happen.
